OctA-Probe抗体（G-8）是一种IgG2b κ小鼠单克隆OctA-Probe抗体（也称为OctA-Probe抗体或FLAG标签抗体），可通过WB、IP、IF和ELISA检测带有OctA（FLAG®）标签的OctA融合蛋白和FLAG标记的蛋白质起源。OctA-Probe抗体（G-8）以非偶联抗OctA-Probe抗体形式提供，同时还有多种偶联形式的抗OctA-Probe抗体，包括琼脂糖、HRP、PE、FITC和多种Alexa Fluor®偶联物。质粒载体通常用于在细菌、昆虫和哺乳动物宿主中表达真核基因的编码区；这种表达载体经常用于编码由真核靶蛋白和专门设计的区域组成的杂交融合蛋白，以辅助靶蛋白的纯化和可视化。一个由八个氨基酸组成的小亲水性肽已被工程化到由各种原核和真核表达载体表达的蛋白质的N端。这种小肽已被证明在可视化和免疫亲和纯化表达的融合蛋白方面非常有用，并且由于肽部分的小尺寸和其亲水性质，表达的蛋白质经常保持其高水平的生物活性。此外，这八个氨基酸部分可以通过肠激酶切割去除。

Does the OctA-Probe Antibody (G-8): sc-166384 recognizes the 3x Flag: DYKDHDG-DYKDHDI-DYKDDDDK as it does for Flag: DYKDDDDK ? Unfortunately the actual amino acid sequence of the Octa (eight) is not disclose in Santa Cruz site. Thanks!

I am using the LiCor/Odyssey system. Which secondary antibody do you recommend using with OctA-Probe (G-8): sc-166384 monoclonal antibody?

Thank you for your question We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins (m-IgGκ) conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ab for Flag-tagged proteinsgood antibody to use I used this antibody to detect a recombinant Flag-tagged protein in transfected Jurkat T cells. It works well for WB (1:500) but it also detects non-specific bands if using longer exposure.
