Thank you for the correction. But which amino acids belong exactly to the epitope of blocking peptide sc-393020 P? You wrote that it is within aa123-151 of P04247. This is a long sequence for a epitope and not exact.

The exact peptide sequence used to develop this antibody, and for the blocking peptide (sc-393020 P) is considered proprietary information. We are able to provide a very short range of amino acids 123-151. In addition, the exact epitope recognized by this mouse monoclonal antibody has not been determined.

You sent me the following message: Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide maps within amino acids 123-151 of mouse myoglobin, accession#P02144. P02144 is the accession of human myoglobin not of mouse myoglobin. What is correct now?

Thank you for your message, and thank you for catching the error in my answer. It is of course the mouse accession number that was supposed to be in the answer. The epitope maps within amino acids 123-151 of accession# P04247.
