MTMR3 Antibody (A-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects MTMR3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-MTMR3 antibody (A-12) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. MTMR3 is a member of the myotubularin family, known for its role as a phosphoinositide phosphatase, specifically hydrolyzing phosphatidylinositol 3-phosphate and phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate. This enzymatic activity regulates cellular processes such as membrane trafficking and cytoskeletal dynamics, which are essential for maintaining cellular integrity and function. Additionally, MTMR3 interacts with other members of the MTMR family, including MTMR4, which can influence activity and localization within the cell. Understanding MTMR3 interactions and functions is vital, as mutations in related proteins can lead to severe neurological disorders, such as Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, highlighting MTMR3′s importance in both health and disease.

Are there any issues with using sc-393779: MTMR3 (A-12) mouse monoclonal primary antibody on mouse samples?

Asked by: Randy McDonald
Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody. Please contact our special orders department for pricing and availability of sc-393779 conjugates.
