Mfn1抗体（D-10）是一种IgG2a κ小鼠单克隆Mfn1抗体（也被称为Mitofusin-1抗体），可通过WB、IP、IF和ELISA检测小鼠、大鼠和人源的Mfn1蛋白。Mfn1抗体（D-10）既有非偶联抗Mfn1抗体形式，也有多种偶联形式的抗Mfn1抗体，包括琼脂糖、HRP、PE、FITC和多种Alexa Fluor®偶联物。Mitofusin 1（Mfn1）和mitofusin 2（Mfn2）是果蝇蛋白fuzzy onion（Fzo）的同源物。它们是线粒体膜蛋白，是线粒体融合的介质。Mfn蛋白的功能需要GTPase结构域，但GTPase依赖性反应的分子机制以及两种Mfn蛋白的功能划分尚不清楚。它们对于胚胎发育至关重要，并可能在肥胖症的病理生物学中发挥作用。尽管Mfn1和Mfn2基因广泛表达，但它们在不同组织中的表达水平不同。两种Mfn1转录本在心脏中升高，而Mfn2 mRNA在心脏和肌肉组织中大量表达，但在许多其他组织中仅低水平表达。Mfn1定位于线粒体，并以GTP依赖的方式参与至少两种不同的高分子量蛋白质复合物。纯化的重组Mfn1表现出比Mfn2高约八倍的GTPase活性。
