What is the epitope this Ab was raised against? Is it lumenal or cytoplasmic?

Thank you for your question. Anti-STC1 Antibody (1A3): sc-293435 was raised against amino acids 141-247 representing partial length STC1 of human origin. It is a secreted protein, so there is no cytoplasmic domain.

Can LAMP-2 (M3/84): sc-19991 be used to IHQ (not paraffin-embedded) from frozen tissue sections?

Can LAMP-2 (M3/84): sc-19991 be used to stain formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections?

Thank you for your question. Yes, LAMP-2 (M3/84): sc-19991 has been validated for use in IHC with paraffin-embedded sections. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works OkayThe Anti-LAMP2 works okay (not great) for paraffin mice brain section section IF staining after Citrate EDTA pH6.2 HIER for 20 minutes. IT does work a bit better in the floating frozen sections of mouse brain without any antigen retrieval. Need to troubleshoot the signal in paraffin section though
