GW182 Antibody (F-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects GW182 in human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). GW182 plays a pivotal role in the formation and maintenance of GW bodies (GWBs), which are essential for the regulation of microRNA (miRNA) and small interfering RNA (siRNA) activity within the cell. These structures serve as critical sites for mRNA storage and degradation, and their integrity is vital for effective gene silencing.
