γ-catenin抗体（A-6）是一种IgG2a κ小鼠单克隆γ-catenin抗体，也被称为JUP抗体、PLAK抗体、Junction Plakoglobin抗体、DP3抗体、Catenin (Cadherin-Associated Protein) Gamma 80kDa抗体、Desmoplakin III抗体、Desmoplakin-3抗体、CTNNG抗体、DPIII抗体、PDGB抗体或PKGB抗体。该抗体能够通过WB, IP, IF, IHC(P)和ELISA方法检测小鼠、大鼠和人类来源的γ-catenin蛋白。此外，该抗体既可以非偶联抗γ-catenin抗体的形式提供，也可以多种偶联形式的抗γ-catenin抗体的形式提供，偶联形式包括琼脂糖、辣根过氧化物酶、藻红蛋白、异硫氰酸荧光素和多种Alexa Fluor®偶联物。α、β和γ这三种catenin蛋白能够与E-cadherin的高度保守的细胞内胞质尾部结合，形成的catenin/cadherin复合物在介导细胞粘附方面发挥着重要作用。其中，α-catenin与E-cadherin及其他cadherin家族成员如N-cadherin和P-cadherin有关；β-catenin则与E-cadherin的细胞质部分结合，对E-cadherin的功能至关重要；而γ-catenin，也被称为plakoglobin，与α-catenin和N-cadherin结合。此外，还有研究表明跨膜磷酸酶PTPµ与catenin/cadherin复合物结合，可能调节复合物的信号传导。因此，γ-catenin抗体（A-6）是研究细胞粘附机制和其他相关生物过程的重要工具。
