Does this antibody react with fibronectin of mouse origin, say fibronectin from 3T3? Best regards, Zheng

Thank you for your question. We do not have any data or citations using this antibody in mouse tissues or cells, and so it is currently only recommended for human. We have many alternative Fibronectin antibodies that are recommended for mouse. Please contact our Technical Service Department for help in selecting the best antibody for your research applications.

I bought the L form of this antibody, sc-18826 L for blocking (neutralization). How long can I store this at in the refridgerator?

The L form of the antibody should be stored at -20°C. Once thawed, we recommend using as soon as possible, although it is usually stable for up to 2 weeks at 4 degrees.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works to detect CS1 by westernWe used this antibody to distinguish between plasma fibronectin (which does not contain CS1) and a recombinant fibronectin fragment containing the CS1 peptide. Both of these proteins were detected by polyclonal fibronectin antisera, but only the recombinant protein containing CS1 was recognized by the P1F11 antibody. Proteins were loaded at 1ug/lane, separated by SDS-PAGE, and transferred to PVDF by standard procedures. P1F11 was used at 1:200 dilution overnight at 4C, followed by anti-mouse IgM at 1:2000 dilution for 1 hour at room temperature.
