Thank you for your question. Yes, this antibody is recommended for detection of Ets-1 of mouse origin, and is suitable for IF or IHC(P) on mouse tissue.

Which type of antigen retrieval protocol would you suggest for IHC on FFPE tissue sections for this antibody (sc-55581)?

Thank you very much for your question. For antigen retrieval we recommend the Heat treatment method: Place slides in a container and cover with 10 mM sodium citrate buffer, pH 6.0 (sc-294091); or with 50 mM glycine-HCl buffer (sc-29096), pH 3.5, with 0.01% (w/v) EDTA (sc-29092). Heat at 95° C for 5 minutes. Top off with fresh buffer and heat at 95° C for 5 minutes (optimal incubation time may vary for each tissue type). Allow slides to cool in the buffer for approximately 20 minutes. Wash in deionized H2O three times for 2 minutes each. Aspirate excess liquid from slides. When should the TransCruz reagent sc-55581 X be used instead of the standard form sc-55581?

Thank you for your question. We recommend using the TransCruz reagent form when performing ChIP or GelShift assays. This form can also be used in other applications such as Western Blot or IHC, but the dilution should be adjusted by a factor of 10 to account for the higher original concentration.

I am using the LiCor/Odyssey system. Which secondary antibody do you recommend using with Ets-1 (C-4): sc-55581?

We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins (m-IgGκ) conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems. Rated 1 out of 5 by from 检测不到目的条带。本人8月24日收到从贵公司订购的抗体试样（sc-55581），但经两次重复实验，发现该抗体1:200稀释用WB方法并不能检测到目的条带。于是立即从CST公司订购ETS-1抗体（ETS-1 (D8O8A) Rabbit mAb #14069），用同样的细胞裂解样品和蛋白上样量（HeLa细胞，50 ug），同样用WB方法1:1000稀释抗体就清晰地检测到目的条带。
