Egr-2抗体（1G5）是一种小鼠单克隆IgG2b kappa轻链抗体，可通过蛋白质印迹（WB）、免疫沉淀（IP）和酶联免疫吸附测定（ELISA）检测小鼠、大鼠和人类来源的Egr-2蛋白。抗Egr-2抗体（1G5）以非结合形式提供。Egr-2蛋白作为序列特异性DNA结合转录因子发挥着关键作用，主要参与细胞生长和分化过程中的基因表达调控。Egr-2与HoxA4等目标基因启动子区域中的特定DNA位点结合，主要定位于细胞核中，影响发育过程。Egr-2与先天性少突胶质细胞神经病（CHN）和德杰林-索塔综合征（DSS）有关，突出了其重要性。这两种疾病均表现为严重的神经功能缺陷和神经传导速度缓慢，原因是EGR2基因突变。人类Egr-2和鼠类Egr-1的锌指区域高度保守，同源性高达92%，这凸显了Egr-2在转录调控中的进化意义。Egr-2单克隆抗体（1G5）是研究人员研究这些神经病变分子机制以及Egr蛋白在细胞功能中更广泛影响的重要工具。
