DLK ANTIBODY IS THE SAME AS PREF1?

Thank you for your question. Yes, DLK Antibody (B-7): sc-376755, is recommended for detection of DLK, which is also designated PREF1 (Pref-1), preadipocyte factor 1. The Gene Info and Protein Sequences can be found in tabs on this page below the "Related Products".

Can DLK (B-7): sc-376755 monoclonal antibody be used in IF or IHC with mouse tissue or cells? Will there be non-specific staining?

Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent, DLK (B-7): sc-376755 is available in a variety of direct conjugations, such as HRP, PE, FITC and AlexaFluors.

It worked for what I needed, but I wish the band definition had been clearer. I only ran it once, I could try to run it again and might not have background that time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Werstern效果不错本人申请的是DLK小样试用装，在跑WB时，1:500的比例稀释，效果还可以。做过IF，一抗为·1:100，看不多荧光，不确定抗体问题，还是我本身细胞不表达DLK，目前正在尝试改良IF Protocol，再次进行验证
