Dengue Virus Antibody (9.F.10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects Dengue Virus across serotypes 1, 2, 3, and 4 through western blotting (WB), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. Anti-Dengue Virus antibody (9.F.10) plays a crucial role in studying Dengue Virus, a member of the Flavivirus genus responsible for causing Dengue fever, a significant public health concern in tropical regions. The virus′s genome consists of a single-stranded positive-sense RNA that encodes three structural proteins—capsid, membrane, and envelope—as well as seven nonstructural proteins essential for viral replication and pathogenesis. The envelope protein facilitates fusion of viral and cellular membranes, enabling viral entry into host cells for replication. Understanding these proteins′ structure and function is vital for developing effective vaccines and therapeutic strategies against Dengue fever, and for elucidating viral infection and immune response mechanisms.
