Alconox® is a powder detergent suitable for manual cleaning of a wide variety of labware. Alconox® detergent is an excellent alternative to using hazardous solvents and corrosive acids. Concentrated Alconox® powder detergent saves money by using less detergent when removing soil, grit, buffer compounds and organic contaminants from labware. It is made largely of a non-corrosive homogeneous blend of sodium linear alkylaryl sulfonate, phosphates, and carbonates. Alconox® is free rinsing, odorless, anionic, mild, and biodegradable, making it ideal for use on glass, metal, stainless steel, porcelain, ceramic, plastic, rubber and fiberglass. Typical pH of a 1% solution of Alconox® is 9.5.
