TudorSN Antibody (C-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects TudorSN in mouse, rat, and human samples through various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TudorSN plays a crucial role in the regulation of Myb activity by interacting with Pim-1, acting as a transcriptional activator of EBNA-2, and forming essential complexes with proteins such as Stat6 and POLR2A. TudorSN is primarily located in the nucleus, where TudorSN is vital for the assembly of the Stat6 transcriptome, thereby stimulating IL-4-dependent transcription through mediation of interactions between Stat6 and the co-activator CBP. This nuclear localization enables TudorSN to directly influence gene expression and cellular responses to cytokines, which are critical for immune function and development. Additionally, TudorSN contains staphylococcal nuclease-like domains that interact with specific regions of CBP, highlighting TudorSN′s importance in transcriptional regulation and the potential for targeted therapeutic strategies in diseases where these pathways are disrupted.
