Dear SC, Could you give me any information on the peptide sequence recognised by discontinued anti-STAT3 (C-20) sc-482 versus (F-2) sc-8019? We're attempting ChIP-sequencing in cells that have a mutation in the SH2 or TA domain of STAT3. Thanks!

Thank you for your question. The discontinued polyclonal antibody was raised against the C-terminus, while the mouse monoclonal antibody, Stat3 Antibody (F-2): sc-8019, is raised against amino acids 50-240 mapping at the N-terminus of Stat3 of human origin (accession number P40763).
