SETD4 Antibody (F-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects SETD4 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). SETD4 (F-3) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates, providing versatility for different experimental needs. SETD4 protein consists of 440 amino acids and features a single SET domain, playing a crucial role in regulating gene expression and chromatin dynamics, making SETD4 essential for cellular processes such as differentiation and development. SETD4 is involved in methylation of histone proteins, a key post-translational modification that influences chromatin structure and function. This modification is vital for proper regulation of gene expression, and dysregulation of SETD4 has been implicated in various diseases, including certain cancers and neurodegenerative disorders. SETD4 gene is located on human chromosome 21, which is associated with several genetic conditions, including Down syndrome. Understanding SETD4 function and regulation is important for elucidating SETD4′s role in health and disease, making anti-SETD4 antibody (F-3) a valuable tool for researchers studying these critical biological processes.
