NF45 Antibody (H-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects NF45 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). NF45 (H-4) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. NF45, also known as ILF2 or nuclear factor of activated T cells 45 kDa, is a crucial transcription factor that plays a significant role in regulating gene expression by forming a heterodimer with NF90 (ILF3, DRBP76). This interaction is vital for the regulation of interleukin-2 (IL-2) expression, as the NF45/NF90 complex binds to the antigen receptor response element (ARRE) within the IL-2 enhancer, thereby influencing T cell activation and proliferation. Additionally, in neuronal cells, the NF45/NF90 heterodimer has been shown to repress the replication of human rhinovirus type 2 by binding to the 5′ untranslated region of the viral RNA, which encodes the internal ribosome entry site (IRES). This multifaceted role of NF45 in both immune response and viral regulation underscores its importance in cellular processes and potential therapeutic applications.
