Cdc34B Antibody (E-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Cdc34B in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Cdc34B antibody (E-6) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Cdc34B, also known as UBE2R2 or UBC3B, is a 238 amino acid protein that belongs to the E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme family, playing a crucial role in the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway. Cdc34B is primarily located in the cytoplasm and is essential for the regulation of protein degradation, which is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and facilitating cell cycle progression. Cdc34B catalyzes the attachment of ubiquitin to target proteins, such as β-TrCP, an F-box protein that mediates the degradation of β-catenin, a key regulator in the Wnt signaling pathway. The phosphorylation of Cdc34B by casein kinase II enhances recognition of β-TrCP substrates, thereby promoting β-catenin degradation and influencing cell cycle dynamics. Given Cdc34B′s significant role in regulating protein turnover and cell cycle progression, Cdc34B monoclonal antibody (E-6) serves as an invaluable tool for researchers studying these processes.
