    SEE ALSO...

ZNF70 Antibody (F-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects ZNF70 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ZNF70 (F-8) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ZNF70, also known as Zinc finger protein N27C7-1, is a crucial nuclear protein composed of 446 amino acids and features eleven C2H2-type zinc fingers, which are essential for DNA binding and transcriptional regulation. Located primarily in the nucleus, ZNF70 plays a significant role in gene expression modulation, which is vital for cellular processes such as differentiation and response to environmental stimuli. The presence of zinc fingers allows ZNF70 to interact with specific DNA sequences, thereby influencing the transcription of target genes. Additionally, ZNF70 is implicated in various biological pathways, and dysfunction has been associated with several genetic disorders linked to chromosome 22, including Phelan-McDermid syndrome and neurofibromatosis type 2. Using anti-ZNF70 antibody (F-8) in research can provide insights into regulatory mechanisms of gene expression and potential implications of ZNF70 in disease states.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-398828 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: Randy McDonald
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
