ZNF622 Antibody (3I4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ZNF622 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-ZNF622 antibody (3I4) is available as the non-conjugated format. ZNF622, also known as Zinc finger protein 622 or ZPR9, is a 477 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in cellular processes by localizing to both the nucleus and cytoplasm. This dual localization enables ZNF622 to participate in various regulatory functions, including the activation of transcription factors such as B-Myb, which is essential for embryonic development. The presence of two U1-type zinc fingers in ZNF622′s structure enables DNA binding, influencing gene expression and cellular differentiation. ZNF622 can form homodimers or heterodimers and undergoes phosphorylation by Maternal embryonic leucine zipper kinase (MELK), which may further modulate activity and interactions within the cell. Notably, overexpression of ZNF622 has been linked to liver metastases, carcinomatoses, and colorectal carcinomas, highlighting potential role in cancer biology and making ZNF622 a valuable target for research and therapeutic applications.

I am using ZNF622 (3I4): sc-100980 for immunofluorescence, what dilution of this antibody should I use?

Asked by: DefinitelyNotMatt
Thank you for your question. We recommend a starting dilution of 1:50. However, optimal antibody concentration should be determined by titration. Please find our full immunofluorescence protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunofluorescence-cell-staining
