SEE ALSO...

ZFP96 Antibody (G-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects ZFP96 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ZFP96 (G-6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ZFP96, also known as Zinc finger protein 96 homolog or ZSCAN12, is a 604 amino acid nuclear protein characterized by its unique structure, which includes one SCAN box domain and eleven C2H2-type zinc fingers. This structural composition enables ZFP96 to bind to specific DNA sequences, thereby playing a significant role in transcriptional regulation. ZFP96 shows notable importance during pregnancy, with an eight-fold upregulation from day 13 of pregnancy to day 1 post-partum, indicating a function as a transcription factor that may switch off pro-survival genes and upregulate pro-apoptotic genes in the corpus luteum. ZFP96′s ability to modulate gene expression highlights potential impact on reproductive health and cellular apoptosis, making ZFP96 a valuable target for research in developmental biology and related fields.
