UltraCruz® Dulbecco's Modified Eagle's Medium (DMEM) is a modified formulation of Basal Medium Eagle (BME) and is the most widely used media for supporting growth of various mammalian cells. DMEM contains four times the amino acid and vitamin concentrations as Minimum Essential Medium (MEM). Dulbecco's Modified Eagle's Medium supports primary culture cells, and a plethora of normal and transformed cell types. DMEM consists of 4.5 g/L glucose, 485 mg/L L-glutamine and no sodium pyruvate.
