SEE ALSO...

TNF-R1 Antibody (55R-170) is a hamster monoclonal IgG antibody that detects tumor necrosis factor receptor 1 (TNF-R1) in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as immunoprecipitation (IP) and flow cytometry (FCM). TNF-R1 plays a crucial role in mediating the effects of tumor necrosis factor, a key cytokine involved in inflammation and immune responses. TNF-R1 is primarily located on the surface of various cell types, including immune cells, where TNF-R1 initiates signaling pathways that can lead to cell survival, proliferation, or apoptosis, depending on the context. TNF-R1′s ability to transduce apoptotic signals is particularly important in regulating immune responses and maintaining tissue homeostasis. Dysregulation of TNF-R1 signaling has been implicated in numerous diseases, including autoimmune disorders and cancer, making TNF-R1 a significant target for therapeutic intervention. TNF-R1 monoclonal antibody (55R-170) is designed to provide reliable detection and characterization of this vital receptor, facilitating research into its role in health and disease.

How can TNF-R1 (55R-170): sc-12746 mouse monoclonal antibody be used for double or triple staining, if the other primary antibodies are also raised in mouse?

Asked by: TinTin
In this case, we recommend using a directly conjugated mouse monoclonal primary antibody. This antibody is available conjugated to phycoerythrin (sc-12746 PE) or fluoroscein (sc-12746 FITC).
