Datasheets
  • SPATA25 Antibody (H-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 SPATA25 antibody provided at 200 µg/ml
  • specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 9-45 within an internal region of SPATA25 of human origin
  • recommended for detection of SPATA25 of human origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA
  • m-IgG3 BP-HRP is the preferred secondary detection reagent for SPATA25 Antibody (H-3) for WB applications. This reagent is now offered in a bundle with SPATA25 Antibody (H-3) (see ordering information below).

    SEE ALSO...

SPATA25 Antibody (H-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 antibody that detects SPATA25 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-SPATA25 antibody (H-3) is available as the non-conjugated form. SPATA25, also known as spermatogenesis-associated protein 25 or TSG23 (testis-specific gene 23 protein), is a 227 amino acid single-pass membrane protein that plays a crucial role in spermatogenesis, a process essential for male fertility. SPATA25 is predominantly expressed in the testis, where levels are approximately 60-fold higher in adult testis compared to fetal testis, highlighting significance during the later stages of male reproductive development. The gene encoding SPATA25 is located on human chromosome 20q13.12, a region that encompasses nearly 63 million bases and contains over 600 genes, some of which are implicated in various neurological and genetic disorders. Notably, chromosome 20 also harbors genes that are believed to be important for seminal production, making SPATA25 a potential target for research into male contraception strategies. Anti-SPATA25 antibody (H-3)′s ability to effectively detect SPATA25 across multiple applications makes this product an invaluable tool for researchers studying male reproductive biology and related fields.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-374631 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: jerojero
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
