    SCAND1 Antibody (SCANH7G4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects SCAND1 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP). Anti-SCAND1 antibody (SCANH7G4) is available as a non-conjugated format. SCAND1, also known as SCAN domain containing 1, RAZ1, or SDP1, is a crucial nuclear protein involved in transcription regulation, which is essential for controlling gene expression and cellular function. SCAND1 is predominantly expressed in tissues such as the kidney, thyroid, liver, prostate, and testis, highlighting its significance in various physiological processes. Structurally, SCAND1 features a SCAN box domain, a conserved motif that facilitates protein-protein interactions, although SCAND1 notably lacks the zinc finger motif found in many other SCAN domain-containing proteins. The SCAN box domain, approximately 60 amino acids in length, is integral to its role in mediating interactions with other proteins, including ZNF38, ZNF191, MZF-1, ZNF202, and PPARγ. These interactions suggest SCAND1 is involved in the transcriptional regulation of genes related to energy homeostasis and lipid metabolism, making SCAND1 a vital player in maintaining metabolic balance within the cell.
