RNF11 Antibody (4G7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects RNF11 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-RNF11 antibody (4G7) is available as the non-conjugated format. RNF11, also known as RING finger protein 11 or CGI-123, is a 154 amino acid protein characterized by a RING-type zinc finger motif, which is crucial for function in the ubiquitination pathway of protein degradation. This motif consists of a conserved cysteine-rich domain capable of binding two zinc ions, a feature essential for structural integrity and functional activity of RNF11. RNF11′s ability to interact with key proteins such as NEDD4, an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase, and epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) highlights RNF11′s role in regulating various cellular processes, including signal transduction and protein turnover. By modulating activity of growth-associated proteins like EGFR, RNF11 is implicated in pathogenesis of several diseases, including endocrine neoplasia, Parkinson′s disease, and breast cancer, making RNF11 a significant target for research in cancer biology and neurodegenerative disorders.
