rat thymocytes, bone marrow Antibody (W3/15) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that recognizes thymocytes and bone marrow proteins in mouse and rat samples by flow cytometry (FCM). rat thymocytes, bone marrow (W3/15) antibody is available in non-conjugated forms and conjugated with agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® variants. Thymocytes, produced in the thymus, serve as precursor cells to T cells, which are essential for adaptive immunity. Interleukin-6 significantly influences thymocyte development and proliferation, promoting their maturation into functional T cells. This maturation process is crucial for establishing robust immune responses, as T cells identify and eliminate pathogens. Bone marrow functions as a primary site for hematopoiesis, generating new hematopoietic and mesenchymal cells. Hematopoietic cells develop into leukocytes, erythrocytes, and thrombocytes, while mesenchymal cells, positioned around the bone marrow′s central sinus, can differentiate into osteoblasts, chondrocytes, and myocytes. These mesenchymal cells regulate the bone marrow microenvironment and maintain proper hematopoietic function.
