Progesterone Antibody (11P14) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects the Progesterone protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Progesterone antibody (11P14) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Progesterone is a crucial C-21 steroid hormone that plays a vital role in the female menstrual cycle, pregnancy, and embryogenesis, being primarily produced in the adrenal glands, gonads, brain, and placenta during pregnancy. These isoforms consist of a modulating N-terminal domain, a DNA binding domain, and a C-terminal steroid binding domain, which are essential for their function in gene expression and cellular response to hormonal signals.
