PHLDA3 Antibody (A-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects PHLDA3 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-PHLDA3 antibody (A-10) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. PHLDA3, also known as pleckstrin homology-like domain, family A, member 3 or TIH1, is a 127 amino acid protein characterized by a pleckstrin homology domain, which plays a crucial role in tumor suppressor function. PHLDA3 is primarily located in the cytoplasm and regulates cell survival by inhibiting Akt signaling pathways, promoting p53-dependent apoptosis. PHLDA3′s function prevents uncontrolled cell proliferation, making PHLDA3 a vital player in cancer biology. The gene encoding PHLDA3 is situated on human chromosome 1, a region housing numerous disease-associated genes, and alterations in this chromosome have been implicated in various cancers, including head and neck cancer, malignant melanoma, and multiple myeloma. With nearly 100% sequence homology to its mouse counterpart, PHLDA3 serves as a critical target for research into tumor suppression and apoptosis mechanisms, highlighting PHLDA3′s importance in both basic and clinical research settings.
