Ophiobolin B was originally isolated from Helminthosporium sp. Ophiobolin B is an inhibitor of calmodulin action in calcium regulation. Exhibits antibacterial, antitumor and nematocidal activities. Ophiobolin B is a naturally occurring compound derived from the fungus Ophiobolus stenosporus. Belonging to the ophiobolin family, this compound exhibits a broad range of biological activities.
