NUDT22 Antibody (B-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects NUDT22 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). NUDT22 is a member of the Nudix hydrolase family, which is known for its role in the hydrolysis of nucleoside diphosphate derivatives, although NUDT22 lacks the characteristic nudix box and exhibits no hydrolase activity. This 303 amino acid protein is encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 11, a region rich in gene and disease associations, which is crucial for understanding various genetic disorders. Notably, the Atm gene, also found on chromosome 11, plays a vital role in regulating cell cycle arrest and apoptosis in response to double-strand DNA breaks; mutations in this gene are linked to ataxia-telangiectasia, a severe neurodegenerative disorder.
