    SEE ALSO...

NUBP2 Antibody (H-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects NUBP2 in mouse and rat samples through various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). NUBP2, also known as cytosolic Fe/S cluster assembly factor NUBP2, is a crucial 271 amino acid protein that plays a significant role in the assembly of iron-sulfur (Fe/S) clusters, which are vital for the function of numerous enzymes and proteins within the cell. NUBP2 is predominantly localized in both the nucleus and cytoplasm, with notable presence at centrosomes during mitosis, highlighting NUBP2′s importance in cellular division and function. NUBP2 is essential for the maturation of extramitochondrial Fe/S proteins, facilitating the transfer of a labile 4Fe-4S cluster to various apoproteins, thereby influencing a range of biological processes including cellular respiration and metabolism. NUBP2 is a member of the NUBP/MRP gene subfamily of ATP-binding proteins and is encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 16p13.3 and mouse chromosome 17 A3.3, indicating evolutionary conservation and significance across species. With a wide expression profile, particularly in skeletal muscle, fetal liver, lung, brain, and kidney, anti-NUBP2 antibody (H-2) serves as a valuable tool for researchers investigating the intricate roles of Fe/S proteins in cellular physiology and pathology.

Can NUBP2 (H-2): sc-376786 monoclonal antibody be used to stain formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections?

    Asked by: Randy McDonald
Thank you for your question. Yes, NUBP2 (H-2): sc-376786 has been validated for use in IHC with paraffin-embedded sections. We recommend performing antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6) and heat. The full protocol can be found here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunoperoxidase-staining
