N′-cyanoethanimidamide (NCA) is used as a reagent in the synthesis of various compounds, including nitrogen-containing heterocycles, amines, and amino acids. Additionally, it can be used in the synthesis of polymers, dyes, pigments, and agrochemicals. N′-cyanoethanimidamide is an organic compound that acts as an acid-base catalyst. In vitro studies have shown that it can inhibit the activity of certain enzymes, such as proteases and phosphatases. N′-cyanoethanimidamide has also been shown to inhibit the activity of certain proteins involved in cell signaling pathways. Furthermore, it can reduce inflammation and oxidative stress.
