    SEE ALSO...

Ndfip2 Antibody (C-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Ndfip2 protein of mouse origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Ndfip2 antibody (C-6) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Ndfip2, also known as NEDD4 family interacting protein 2 or N4WBP5A, is a 336 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in cellular processes by localizing to the membranes of the endosome and Golgi apparatus. This localization enables Ndfip2 to participate in endocytosis and regulate key signaling pathways, including NFκB and MAPK, which are vital for cellular responses to stress and inflammation. Ndfip2 interacts with NEDD4 and NEDD4-L, functioning as an adaptor protein that recruits these ubiquitin-protein ligases to the protein trafficking machinery in the Golgi, thereby influencing protein degradation and recycling. Ndfip2 is activated by T cells and can be ubiquitinated by NEDD4 or NEDD4-L, although this modification does not impair function. The gene encoding Ndfip2 is located on human chromosome 13, which contains over 400 genes, including critical tumor suppressor genes such as BRCA2 and RB1, highlighting Ndfip2′s importance in both normal physiology and potential disease states.

How much sample do you recommend loading on the gel for Western blot detection using Ndfip2 (C-6): sc-515327?

    Asked by: TinTin
We recommend loading 40–60 µg whole cell lysate, 10–20 µg nuclear extract, 5-10 µg transfected lysate, or 10–20 ng purified protein per lane. A link to our complete Western blotting protocol is provided here for your reference: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/western-immuno-blotting
