    SEE ALSO...

Mystique Antibody (B-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects Mystique protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Mystique (B-8) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Mystique protein, also known as PDLIM2 (PDZ and LIM domain protein 2), PP6345, or SLIM, is a 352 amino acid protein characterized by one LIM zinc-binding domain and one PDZ domain, and exists in four isoforms that localize to either the cytoplasm/cytoskeleton or nucleus. Mystique protein plays a crucial role as an adapter protein that facilitates cell attachment at the actin cytoskeleton, which is vital for maintaining tissue architecture and cellular communication. Mystique protein interacts with specific proteins such as α-actinin-1 and α-actinin-4, contributing to cell-cell interactions and proper migration of epithelial cells. Notably, overexpression of Mystique protein has been linked to suppression of anchorage-independent growth and increased cell adhesion to extracellular matrix components like fibronectin and collagen, which may enhance migratory capabilities of certain tumors. Given Mystique protein′s involvement in promoting tumor migration, research suggests a significant role in progression of breast cancer and other malignant carcinomas, making Mystique protein an important target for research in cancer biology.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Mystique antibody(B-8) for Western BlotI applied for this trial antibody one month ago, and I feel appreciate it .Then I performed Western Blot with this antibody, the starting dilution is 1:100.The result is less than satisfactory ,it may be due to the quality of the antibody or a low expression of brain tissue.
