SEE ALSO...

Msx-2 Antibody (B-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 antibody that detects Msx-2 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Msx-2 antibody (B-2) is available as the non-conjugated form. Msx-2, a member of the homeobox gene family, plays a crucial role in embryonic development by acting as a transcription factor that regulates morphogenetic processes. Specifically, Msx-2 is essential for the development of various structures, including the craniofacial skeleton and teeth, by influencing the differentiation of mesenchymal cells during critical stages of organogenesis. Msx-2 expression is particularly significant during the formation of the neural tube and neural crest, where Msx-2 contributes to the initial patterning of dentition and the terminal differentiation of cells. In terms of cellular localization, Msx-2 is primarily found in the nucleus of adult epidermal cells, indicating a role in regulating gene expression, while in fetal tissues, Msx-2 exhibits a diffuse cytoplasmic distribution. Msx-2′s ability to interact with other proteins involved in signaling pathways further underscores its importance in developmental biology and tissue regeneration.
