SEE ALSO...

MPP1 Antibody (H-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects MPP1 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). MPP1 (H-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. MPP1, also known as M-phase phosphoprotein 1 or KIF20B, is a critical motor protein that plays a vital role in cellular processes, particularly during cell division. This 1,820 amino acid protein is characterized by its kinesin-motor domain and is expressed in key tissues such as the kidney, brain, testis, and ovary. MPP1 is essential for proper completion of cytokinesis, as MPP1 facilitates transport of cellular components to the division site, ensuring that daughter cells receive necessary organelles and macromolecules. Additionally, MPP1 interacts with peptidyl-prolyl isomerase Pin1, which is important for regulating protein conformation and function during cell cycle progression. MPP1 is subject to post-translational modifications, including phosphorylation, likely mediated by ATM or ATR, which can influence MPP1′s activity and interactions. With diverse applications and critical role in cellular dynamics, anti-MPP1 antibody (H-7) serves as an invaluable tool for researchers studying cell division and intracellular transport mechanisms.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from MPP1 antibody in various cancer cell linesBeen working on characterizing the expression of KIF20B/MPP1 in cancer cell lines. had a tough time seeing expression until I loaded 150ug (which I know is a lot). ES-2 positive control is 50ug. Overnight incubation with primary antibody dilution 1:1000 in 5% milk. Secondary dilution, 1:5000. Immunofluorescence data (not shown) indicates high expression in nucleus.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very nice for Western blotting - IP is uncertainsc-515194 works for westerns but maybe not for IPs (the spec sheet says it works for IP). 1.5mg of lysate was used with 10ug of antibody. 5% input showed a signal but nothing was in the IP. The IP was done by an experienced researcher.
