MLLT11 Antibody (2A9-1B7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects the MLLT11 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-MLLT11 antibody (2A9-1B7) is available as a non-conjugated format. MLLT11, also known as mixed-lineage leukemia translocated to 11 or AF1q, is a 90 amino acid fusion partner of the Mixed-Lineage Leukemia (MLL) proteins, which are encoded by a gene located on chromosome 11q23. This region is critical as chromosomal translocations involving 11q23 are implicated in the development of rogue activator proteins associated with approximately 10% of acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) cases and 5% of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) cases, predominantly affecting infants under one year of age. MLLT11 plays a significant role in leukemogenesis, particularly in the progression of acute monocytic leukemia, and is expressed in the embryonic brain cortex, where MLLT11 is upregulated during neuronal differentiation, indicating importance in central nervous system development. Additionally, MLLT11 exhibits differential expression in highly metastatic cells compared to their non-metastatic counterparts, suggesting involvement in tumorigenesis and highlighting potential as a target for therapeutic intervention in cancer.
