SEE ALSO...

MDGI Antibody (G-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects MDGI protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). MDGI (G-4) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. MDGI protein, also known as Fatty Acid Binding Protein 3, plays a crucial role in lipid metabolism, particularly in heart and skeletal muscle, where MDGI facilitates uptake and transport of fatty acids. This function helps maintain energy homeostasis and supports cellular metabolism, especially during periods of increased energy demand, such as exercise or stress. MDGI is predominantly expressed in myocardium and muscle fibers, as well as in lipid and steroid-synthesizing cells, highlighting MDGI′s importance in both energy production and regulation of lipid storage. MDGI′s ability to bind and transport fatty acids effectively underscores MDGI′s significance in metabolic processes and potential implications in metabolic disorders, making anti-MDGI antibody (G-4) an essential tool for researchers studying lipid metabolism and related diseases.
