Leukocyte Marker Antibody (50-4B1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects the Leukocyte Marker protein of mouse and rat origin by immunofluorescence (IF). Anti-Leukocyte Marker antibody (50-4B1) is available as a non-conjugated format. Leukocytes, or white blood cells, play a crucial role in the immune system, defending the body against infections and foreign substances. These cells are primarily produced in the bone marrow and are also abundant in the lymphatic system, spleen, and various tissues throughout the body. The structure of leukocytes is vital for their function; unique surface markers allow for the identification and classification of different leukocyte types, such as lymphocytes, monocytes, and granulocytes. Each type has a distinct role in immune response, with lymphocytes being key players in adaptive immunity, while granulocytes are essential for innate immunity. Accurate identification and study of these cells using Leukocyte Marker (50-4B1) antibody is important for understanding immune responses and developing therapies for various diseases, including autoimmune disorders and cancers.
