LANPL Antibody (C-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgM kappa light chain antibody that detects LANPL protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-LANPL antibody (C-1) is available as the non-conjugated form. LANPL protein, also known as leucine-rich acidic nuclear protein-like or ANP32E, plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways and is involved in the regulation of various cellular processes. LANPL primarily localizes in the cytoplasm of peripheral blood leukocytes and various tissues, including the colon, small intestine, prostate, thymus, spleen, skeletal muscle, liver, and kidney, with additional presence in the nucleus and membrane of multiple brain regions. Such localization enables LANPL to interact with key signaling molecules, thereby influencing the dynamics of the cytoskeleton, cell adhesion, and neural development. Upon phosphorylation, LANPL colocalizes with and inhibits protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A), a critical regulator of numerous cellular functions, while not affecting protein phosphatase 1 (PP1). This selective inhibition underscores LANPL′s importance in modulating cellular responses and maintaining proper cellular architecture, making LANPL a vital protein for understanding various physiological and pathological processes.
