Ksr-2 Antibody (K75) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Ksr-2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Ksr-2 antibody (K75) is available as the non-conjugated format. Ksr-2 (K75) antibody recognizes a protein that plays a crucial role in regulating the Ras signaling pathway, essential for various cellular processes, including cell growth, differentiation, and survival. Located primarily in the cytoplasm, Ksr-2 acts as a scaffold that facilitates interaction between different components of the MAP kinase pathway, specifically Raf, MEK, and ERK. This spatial organization ensures efficient transmission of signals from Ras to downstream effectors, influencing cellular responses to growth factors and other stimuli. Ksr-2 is necessary for Ras-mediated signaling during germline meiotic progression and functions redundantly with Ksr-1 in developing critical structures such as the excretory system pathway, hermaphrodite vulva, and male spicules. Ksr-2 (K75) monoclonal antibody targets a protein that serves as a negative regulator of MEKK3-mediated activation of MAP kinase pathways, including ERK and JNK, as well as NFκB pathways, playing a significant role in modulating inflammatory responses by inhibiting MEKK3-mediated interleukin-8 production.
