    SEE ALSO...

KCTD20 Antibody (B-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgA antibody that detects KCTD20 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-KCTD20 antibody (B-11) is available as the non-conjugated form. KCTD20, also known as BTB/POZ domain-containing protein KCTD20 or C6orf69, is a 419 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in cellular signaling by forming a complex with MARK4, which is involved in the regulation of microtubule dynamics and cell polarity. This interaction is particularly important for maintaining proper cellular function and organization, as disruptions in microtubule stability can lead to various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. KCTD20 is encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 6p21.31 and mouse chromosome 17 A3.3, which is significant given that chromosome 6 harbors approximately 1,200 genes and is associated with various genetic conditions, including early onset intestinal cancer and porphyria cutanea tarda. KCTD20 and its interactions within the cellular environment underscore its potential as a biomarker for disease and a target for therapeutic intervention.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-515219 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: jenniferc
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
