    SEE ALSO...

FAM90A Antibody (A-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects FAM90A protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). FAM90A Antibody (A-8) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. FAM90A protein is located in the nucleus and plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression and cellular responses to stress, which is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and preventing diseases such as cancer. Dysregulation of FAM90A has been implicated in various malignancies, highlighting FAM90A′s potential as a biomarker for cancer diagnosis and prognosis. Additionally, chromosome 8, which encodes FAM90A gene, is associated with several genetic disorders and conditions, including certain leukemias and lymphomas, as well as neurodevelopmental disorders like schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. FAM90A gene product has been provisionally designated FAM90A pending further characterization, and ongoing research continues to explore FAM90A′s functional significance and potential therapeutic applications.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-393598 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: cjMara
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
