    SEE ALSO...

eotaxin-2 Antibody (NYRhEOT2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects human eotaxin-2 by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-eotaxin-2 antibody (NYRhEOT2) is available as a non-conjugated format. Eotaxin-2, also known as MPIF-2, CK β-6, or small inducible cytokine A24, plays a crucial role in immune response by promoting chemotaxis and calcium mobilization of eosinophils through CCR3 receptor interaction. This chemokine is particularly important in allergic responses and asthma, as eotaxin-2 helps recruit eosinophils to sites of inflammation, thereby contributing to tissue remodeling and pathophysiology of these conditions. Notably, eotaxin-2 is distinct from eotaxin, sharing only 39% amino acid homology, and eotaxin-2 lacks suppressive activity against immature myeloid progenitor cells stimulated by various growth factors, highlighting a unique functional profile in the immune system.
