SEE ALSO...

E-Selectin Antibody (D-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects E-Selectin of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-E-Selectin antibody (D-7) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. E-Selectin, also known as ELMA-1 or CD62E, plays a crucial role in the immune response by mediating the adhesion of leukocytes to the vascular endothelium during inflammation. E-Selectin is primarily expressed on cytokine-stimulated endothelial cells, where E-Selectin facilitates the recruitment of immune cells to sites of injury or infection, thereby contributing to the inflammatory process. The ability of E-Selectin to interact with specific carbohydrates on leukocytes is vital for the regulation of immune responses, making E-Selectin an important target for research in inflammation and related diseases. E-Selectin monoclonal antibody (D-7) is an essential tool for studying these processes in various experimental settings, providing insights into the mechanisms of leukocyte trafficking and the pathophysiology of inflammatory conditions.

what antigen retrieval pH should be used for FFPE sections?

Asked by: PSub
Thank you for your question. You can find our recommended protocol for IHC(P) staining of tissue samples under this link. We recommend heat treatment with citrate buffer for antigen retrieval, which is indicated in the protocol as well.
