CYP3A Antibody (B-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects CYP3A protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-CYP3A antibody (B-3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CYP3A protein plays a crucial role in drug metabolism, as CYP3A is responsible for the biotransformation of over 50% of clinically used medications, making CYP3A essential for pharmacokinetics and personalized medicine. CYP3A protein is predominantly located in the liver, gastrointestinal tract, and kidneys, which are key organs involved in drug disposition and metabolism.
