CD40 Antibody (LOB-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects the CD40 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and flow cytometry (FCM). CD40 (LOB-11) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CD40 protein plays a crucial role in the immune response, primarily by mediating communication between B cells and T helper cells. CD40 is located on the surface of B cells and interacts with CD40 ligand (CD40L) expressed on activated T cells, which is essential for B cell activation and differentiation.
