Bcl-11b Antibody (F-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects Bcl-11b in mouse, rat, and human samples through various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Bcl-11b, also known as CtIP-2 or RIT1, is a critical transcription factor involved in the regulation of T cell development and function, making Bcl-11b essential for proper immune system operation. Bcl-11b is predominantly located in the nucleus, where Bcl-11b plays a vital role in gene expression regulation by acting as a transcriptional repressor. This nuclear localization is crucial because Bcl-11b directly influences the transcription of target genes involved in lymphocyte differentiation and proliferation, thereby impacting the overall immune response.
