    SEE ALSO...

AFAP-1L1 Antibody (D-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects AFAP-1L1 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). AFAP-1L1 (D-6) antibody is available as the non-conjugated form. AFAP-1L1, also known as Actin filament-associated protein 1-like 1, plays a crucial role in cellular signaling and actin organization, consisting of 768 amino acids and featuring two Pleckstrin homology (PH) domains typically associated with proteins involved in intracellular signaling pathways. AFAP-1L1 is phosphorylated in response to DNA damage, likely by ATR or ATM kinases, suggesting a role in cellular stress response and genomic integrity maintenance. AFAP-1L1 interacts with various signaling molecules, serving as an adaptor that links these molecules to actin filaments, facilitating larger signaling complex formation and influencing actin dynamics. Four isoforms of AFAP-1L1, generated through alternative splicing, highlight regulatory potential in different cellular contexts.
